eligibility and restrictions
Tokenized stocks are securities, and each issuer decides who may hold its tokens. Those rules differ a lot: one issuer excludes two countries, another more than thirty, and some allow certain countries only for professional investors. This page summarises each issuer's published restrictions as our registry holds them, with a link to the source. It's a summary, not advice: the issuer's own terms are what count, and they change.
what we do with this#
Before we quote a route, the app asks which country you live in. We compare your answer with the restrictions of both wrappers in the route and tell you plainly if either issuer excludes you, limits you to professional investors, or hasn't published a full list we could check. We don't block those routes, except one: isomer isn't available to persons in the United States, and the app won't quote for anyone who says they're there.
Your answer stays in your browser's local storage. It's never sent to our api, never logged and never attached to a quote. We ask because the issuer's terms apply to you whether or not anyone checks, and we'd rather you hear it from us before you sign than after. You can change or clear it any time in the convert panel.

dinari's termswhere these come from#
Each list was read from the issuer's own terms page on the date in our registry, and the link under each issuer goes to that page. Where an issuer doesn't publish a complete list, as with xStocks (whose full selling restrictions are in a prospectus we haven't read yet) and Binance (which publishes none for bStocks), we say so, and the app says it can't confirm your eligibility rather than implying you're fine.
If you find a list that's out of date, tell us with a link to the current terms.
